L’assessora ha confermato la sostanziale conclusione dei lavori entro fine giugno, “potranno slittare alla metà di luglio alcune lavorazioni secondarie non completate per le recenti condizioni metereologiche. Dopodiché proseguiranno le necessarie attività di collaudo”. Sull’esistenza e sul contenuto di un piano occupazionale relativo alla messa in operatività della struttura l’assessora ha spiegato che “la programmazione aziendale per il potenziamento dell’organico relativo alla struttura prevede l’assunzione a tempo indeterminato di personale di diverso profilo professionale, nello specifico 47 infermieri, 30 Oss e 9 medici. Personale integralmente aggiuntivo rispetto all’attuale dotazione organica dell’ospedale Santo Stefano. Il personale verrà assunto da graduatoria concorsuale presente presso Estar per il profilo di riferimento, con tempistiche congrue con la data di apertura della palazzina Biancalani”.

Noi siamo contenti della conclusione dei lavori, con il collaudo che verrà fatto poi a settembre, ma la palazzina non potrà essere operativa perché manca il personale che può essere congruo nei numeri, ma ad ora non è in previsione di essere assunto”.

Un bilancio di questa stagione – “Il bilancio per questa stagione è più che positivo. Noi, all’inizio dell’anno eravamo un’incognita. Mi avevano chiesto di provare a salvarci e solo con l’innesto di quattro ragazzi del 2010, già questo poteva bastare come campanello d’allarme. Invece, è arrivato molto di più. Il bilancio è davvero molto positivo.

Siamo super contenti, sia io che i ragazzi, hanno capito il percorso e la crescita che abbiamo fatto tutti insieme. Nonostante la semifinale persa contro la Cattolica, siamo soddisfatti: siamo stati battuti di un gol sul fine partita in una gara giocata alla pari con la squadra che poi ha vinto la Coppa Toscana, questo ci dà più prestigio. Ci rimane una grande consapevolezza.

Abbiamo fatto un buon ritiro, ma quando siamo andati a regime potevamo contare soltanto su tre allenamenti di un’ora e dieci a seduta perché eravamo ospiti di un’altra società. Queste cose si possono pagare in un’annata, eppure siamo partiti bene con 7 vittorie su 7 partite, poi sono arrivate un po’ di difficoltà dovute anche a una scarsa organizzazione della società. Il Prato non ha una struttura ancora consolidata per il settore giovanile e rispetto alle avversarie, ci siamo allenati meno, ma privilegiando la qualità. Abbiamo fatto quello che si è potuto, e i dirigenti lo sanno.

Ai ragazzi, cosa vorrebbe che restasse di questo anno? – La consapevolezza dei loro mezzi, il sapere di portercela fare, la consapevolezza di essere cresciuti soprattutto a livello mentale. Ci sono stati momenti in cui sono stati messi a dura prova: siamo andati a giocare in 13 con alcuni infortunati, giocando partite in condizioni mentali di grande stress. Questo devono ricordarselo: la consapevolezza ce l’hanno dentro, va solo tirata fuori. Io spero si ricordino di questa annata di grande tenuta, di sofferenza, ma davvero molto bella.

Nell’allenamento, qual è il valore fondamentale?  – La coerenza. È quella che poi ti fa instaurare la fiducia reciproca, quella che compatta il gruppo. Coi maschi non ho mai avuto problemi per il mio ruolo di donna, hanno capito subito si sono fidati e affidati. Non abbiamo mai avuto problemi di gender hanno instaurato subito un rapporto di trasparenza e coerenza, e si sono fidati subito.

Le è mai capitato di dover rivedere le sue scelte? – Quando si allena una squadra a tutte le età, e dato che è composta da 20 ragazzi, bisogna trattarli anche in modo diverso e sapere entrare nella loro emotività anche in modo diverso. Bisogna avere una buona sensibilità ma poi c’è il lavoro, che è l’idea di fondo che deve restare: impegnarsi al massimo sia in allenamento che durante le partite. Il lavoro è il faro, l’obiettivo da perseguire. Con ognuno di loro per raggiungere il massimo ho dovuto modulare comunicazione e connessione. Magari una strigliata con qualcuno serve e con altri no.

Ho lavorato molto sulle emozioni e per me è pane quotidiano l’ambiente deve essere positivo e favorevole e devo trovare le chiavi giuste. Mi dispiacerà da morire lasciare questo gruppo perché si sono create grandi relazioni. Vedremo cosa riserva il futuro.

Venerdì scorso al centro giovani “David Sassoli” si è svolta l’iniziativa, promossa dal Comune di Montemurlo, istituto comprensivo Margherita Hack e Legambiente Prato, per sottolineare l’importanza della mobilità sostenibile sul percorso casa-scuola.

Un’esperienza che fa bene alla salute e che promuove socialità e sostenibilità ambientale tra i più piccoli. Alla festa hanno partecipato le assessore Antonella Baiano e Valentina Vespi, i rappresentanti della scuola e di Legambiente. Durante la cerimonia finale, a tutti i partecipanti al Pedibus e ai preziosi volontari che hanno garantito il servizio di accompagnamento, è stato consegnato un attestato di partecipazione insieme a un regalo speciale e simbolico: una piccola bussola, per continuare a orientarsi verso scelte green e responsabili.

Per l’occasione è stata inoltre allestita una mostra con i bellissimi disegni realizzati dai bambini, che hanno raccontato con creatività e fantasia la loro esperienza quotidiana a piedi. Interessanti i dati raccolti durante i quattro mesi della sperimentazione del Pedibus (partita il 26 gennaio 2026). Sono tre le scuole coinvolte: le primarie Alberto Manzi, Margherita Hack e Anna Frank.

Quattro le linee pedibus attive, battezzate con i nomi fantasiosi scelti dai bambini: Panda Rossi, Orsetti Lavatori, Coccinelle e Lumache Turbo.

In tutto sono 75 i bambini partecipanti al Pedibus e 13 gli adulti (volontari) coinvolti, con una presenza che ha variato dai 7 ai 40 bambini per singola linea.

Il Pedibus ha fatto tanta strada: sono 403,30 i chilometri totali percorsi, con una lunghezza media di 675 metri per ciascuna linea; 54 i chilogrammi di CO2 risparmiata, un regalo concreto all’aria che respiriamo e all’ambiente cittadino.

La nuova arteria stradale si svilupperà a partire dall’attuale area scolastica, salendo da via Morecci in adiacenza al perimetro della scuola primaria. La strada proseguirà lambendo quello che sarà l’ingresso del futuro edificio della scuola dell’infanzia – attualmente in fase di costruzione grazie ai fondi del Pnrr– per poi servire l’asilo nido situato nella parte più alta del comparto.

Da lì, il tracciato andrà a intercettare via di Palazzina; quest’ultimo tratto beneficerà a sua volta di un importante intervento di rinnovo e adeguamento che consentirà ai flussi veicolari di reimmettersi agevolmente in via Morecci in direzione di via Fermi. Oltre a fluidificare il traffico e a garantire una migliore connessione tra i vari plessi scolastici, il progetto prevede la realizzazione di nuove aree di sosta e parcheggi, fondamentali per rispondere alle esigenze delle famiglie e del personale scolastico in vista dell’apertura del nuovo asilo nido e della scuola dell’infanzia.

Milano, 9 Giugno 2026. Al Netcomm Forum 2026, Pay-Oh ha presentato la propria evoluzione come infrastruttura tecnologica per il Buy Now Pay Later nel retail fisico, rafforzando un posizionamento che la vede operare come punto di connessione tra operatori finanziari, provider BNPL e merchant.  

La società non eroga credito e non svolge attività di intermediazione finanziaria: il suo ruolo è quello di orchestrare, attraverso una piattaforma SaaS basata su architettura API, l’accesso di più provider BNPL ai negozi fisici e ai canali commerciali offline. Tornando a Seano, il cantiere nel cimitero della frazione andrà oltre, perché riguarderà, nel caso, una più ampia attività che comprende, anche qui, la ristrutturazione di alcune sue parti e la risistemazione delle coperture.

Alla fine per i cimiteri, l’Amministrazione spenderà una cifra che si aggira attorno ai 200 mila euro, perché sono da mettere nel conto, come da intese intervenute, i lavori per il cimitero di Colle, a Quarrata, utilizzato anche da Carmignano per le sepolture, in virtù della storica suddivisione delle competenze parrocchiali tra la chiesa di San Jacopo (Carmignano) e la chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta a Colle (Quarrata): la convenzione sottoscritta con Quarrata, e le conseguenti opere previste sono volte a permettere nuovamente le sepolture in terra, nel quadrante riservato a Carmignano, zona di Colle.

Lo sport a Montemurlo si conferma un’attività senza età grazie alla splendida cornice della Festa dello Sport del Liceo Artistico “Umberto Brunelleschi”, che si è svolta questa mattina (9 giugno) al Palazzetto dello Sport di via del Pantano, nella frazione di Oste.

Protagonisti assoluti dell’evento sono stati gli studenti dell’istituto insieme ai “nonni” del progetto inclusione, l’associazione “Amici in movimento – Associazione Nuova Europa”.

L’iniziativa rappresenta la conclusione di un percorso unico che, per tutto l’anno scolastico, ha visto collaborare attivamente gli anziani del territorio e i ragazzi della scuola attraverso sessioni di attività motoria condivisa.

Durante la mattinata, i giovani e gli “Amici in movimento” hanno presentato il loro saggio finale, esibendosi insieme in due trascinanti coreografie: la prima sulle note rock dei Queen, la seconda su un ritmo reggae che ha reinterpretato in chiave moderna il classico di Domenico Modugno “Nel blu dipinto di blu”. L’esibizione ha scatenato scroscianti applausi da parte di tutti gli studenti che gremivano gli spalti del palazzetto.

Gli interventi programmati prevedono sei cicli di trattamenti antilarvali nelle caditoie stradali del territorio comunale, con cadenza mensile fino a ottobre, utilizzando prodotti autorizzati dal ministero della Salute. Eventuali trattamenti adulticidi straordinari potranno essere effettuati solo in presenza di particolari situazioni di rischio sanitario o in caso di elevate concentrazioni di zanzare accertate attraverso specifici monitoraggi.

Accanto alle attività svolte nelle aree pubbliche, il Comune richiama l’attenzione sull’importanza della prevenzione negli spazi privati. Giardini, cortili, orti e terrazze possono infatti diventare luoghi favorevoli alla proliferazione delle zanzare in presenza di ristagni d’acqua.

Per sensibilizzare la cittadinanza e fornire strumenti utili alla prevenzione, il Comune di Vaiano e Anticimex organizzano, come lo scorso anno, appuntamenti informativi durante i quali saranno distribuiti gratuitamente (fino ad esaurimento scorte) kit larvicidi e materiale illustrativo con consigli pratici per limitare la presenza delle zanzare nelle abitazioni e nelle aree esterne.

Il primo appuntamento è in programma giovedì 11 giugno al mercato de La Briglia, in piazza Mazzini, dalle 9 alle 12.30. Il secondo si terrà sabato 20 giugno al mercato di Vaiano, in piazza del Comune, nello stesso orario. In entrambe le giornate sarà presente uno stand Anticimex dedicato all’informazione e al confronto con i cittadini.

Invitiamo quindi tutti a partecipare agli incontri per ricevere informazioni utili e ritirare gratuitamente i kit messi a disposizione».

Residente a Montemurlo dal 1986 Gastone è stato una figura stimata e benvoluta, capace di unire il profondo impegno nel lavoro tessile a una vivace partecipazione alla vita culturale del territorio.

Era il marito di Antonella Biagini, presidente del coro gospel Black&White Ensemble.

Nato a Poppi il 2 novembre 1952, Gastone era il primogenito di una famiglia fortemente legata al tessuto professionale e sociale della provincia: fratello di Fiorenzo, chimico tessile in pensione, e di Dante, noto medico cardiologo, ex assessore alla Sanità del Comune di Prato e attuale membro della direzione sanitaria dell’Ospedale Santo Stefano.

Lavoratore esemplare, Gastone è stato operaio esperto nel termofissaggio alla ramosa. Ha speso la sua carriera professionale nella rifinizione tessile, partendo inizialmente dalla Valbisenzio per poi legarsi stabilmente al distretto di Montemurlo.

Accanto al lavoro, ha sempre coltivato una viscerale passione per la musica e per le tradizioni locali. Chitarrista autodidatta e tenore nel coro “Black & White Ensemble Gospel Choir”, ha partecipato attivamente insieme alla moglie, Antonella Biagini, come figurante nel Corteggio Storico di Montemurlo, portando orgogliosamente il nome del Comune nelle rievocazioni storiche della Toscana. Uomo dal grande cuore, ha affrontato l’ultima parte della sua vita con coraggio e dignità Il suo cammino è stato segnato anche dalla prematura scomparsa, lo scorso febbraio, della figlia Elena di 43 anni; lascia la moglie Antonella e la figlia Benedetta.

Anche il sindaco Simone Calamai ha voluto esprimere il proprio cordoglio alla famiglia: «Libero pensatore, artista spontaneo, Gastone sarà ricordato da tutti per la sua ironia dissacrante, per il suo impegno nella vita sociale della comunità e dell’associazionismo, per la passione sportiva per la Fiorentina e i motori, e per quel genuino e travolgente umorismo toscano con cui ricordava a chiunque l’importanza di non prendersi mai troppo sul serio».

La salma è esposta per l’ultimo saluto alle cappelle del Commiato della Misericordia di Oste. Il funerale si svolgerà oggi alle ore 15 alla chiesa di Fornacelle.
