BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan , May 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic has suspended the activities of 50 legal entities after information provided by Western partners and reviewed by Kyrgyz state bodies indicated that the companies may have been involved in transactions and foreign economic operations carrying elevated sanctions-related risks. 

Following receipt of this information, the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, together with other authorized state bodies, conducted a review under the interagency mechanism on cooperation to identify bad-faith participants in foreign economic activity and transactions with increased sanctions risks. Based on the findings and submissions of the competent agencies, the Ministry of Justice issued an order to suspend the activities of 50 legal entities. 

This is the first measure of its kind taken by the Kyrgyz Republic under the new interagency procedure. 

“The decision regarding these 50 legal entities is a preventive measure designed to demonstrate that our jurisdiction must not be used for bad-faith foreign economic activity or the circumvention of restrictions,” said Ayaz Batyrkulovich Baetov, Minister of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic. “We take information received from our Western partners seriously concerning possible sanctions-related risks for the national economy, and the Kyrgyz Republic will act within the framework of its national legislation to remain in line with its international obligations.” 

The Ministry emphasizes that the measure is preventive and regulatory in nature. It is aimed at strengthening control mechanisms, reducing exposure to secondary sanctions, and ensuring that legal entities registered in the Kyrgyz Republic conduct their activities in accordance with national legislation. 

The order was issued following interagency consideration of available information on foreign economic activity, payment chains, counterparties, trade routes, and other indicators associated with elevated sanctions risk. The Ministry of Justice acted within its legal authority and in accordance with the established procedure for suspending or terminating the activities of legal entities where relevant grounds are identified. 

The Ministry does not disclose the names, ownership structures, or sectors of the affected companies at this stage, in accordance with applicable legal and procedural requirements. Further actions will be carried out through appropriate legal channels. 

The Kyrgyz Republic maintains that it does not support or facilitate the circumvention of international restrictions by any party. State bodies continue to strengthen cooperation, monitoring, and compliance mechanisms to prevent the misuse of Kyrgyz registration, banking infrastructure, logistics routes, or trade documentation in high-risk transactions. The Government remains open to constructive engagement with Western partners and will continue to provide relevant information through established diplomatic and institutional channels. 

The Ministry calls on all legal entities, financial institutions, exporters, importers, logistics operators, and other participants in foreign economic activity to conduct enhanced due diligence on counterparties, goods, payment routes, and end users. Businesses are urged to comply with Kyrgyz legislation, observe applicable regulatory requirements, and avoid any transactions that may expose the Kyrgyz Republic to risk.

Con l’arrivo anticipato dell’estate e le prime ondate di caldo africano, la Regione Toscana corre ai ripari. Il presidente Eugenio Giani ha firmato l’ordinanza che introduce nuove misure per proteggere i lavoratori esposti alle alte temperature.

La disposizione resterà in vigore fino al 31 agosto 2026 e prevede, nei giorni considerati a rischio elevato, il divieto di svolgere attività lavorative in condizioni di esposizione prolungata al sole tra le 12,30 e le 16.

Il provvedimento riguarda in particolare settore agricolo e florovivaistico, cantieri edili all’aperto e cave, cioè le attività maggiormente esposte al rischio di stress termico e colpi di calore.

Secondo quanto previsto dall’ordinanza, il blocco potrà scattare quando le normali misure preventive – come pause, zone d’ombra, turni rimodulati, abbigliamento adeguato e corretta idratazione – non saranno considerate sufficienti a garantire la sicurezza dei lavoratori.

A indicare le giornate considerate a rischio saranno le mappe pubblicate sul portale Worklimate 3.0, con particolare riferimento ai dati delle 12. Se il livello segnalato sarà “alto”, potranno essere sospese le attività nelle fasce orarie più critiche.

La responsabilità della valutazione e dell’applicazione delle misure resta in capo ai datori di lavoro.

L’ordinanza non si applica invece agli interventi di pubblica utilità, protezione civile o salvaguardia della pubblica incolumità effettuati da enti pubblici o concessionari di servizi, purché vengano comunque adottate adeguate misure di prevenzione.

Il provvedimento d’urgenza è stato firmato dalla presidente del tribunale, Patrizia Pompei, resasi conto dell’impossibilità di garantire il regolare svolgimento delle attività d’aula. Gran parte dei cancellieri e degli assistenti amministrativi in servizio a Prato, infatti, è risultata assente poiché impegnata a Roma per sostenere una prova d’esame legata alla procedura nazionale di stabilizzazione del personale.

Oltre al danno per la macchina della giustizia, si è consumato un vero e proprio corto circuito organizzativo che ha scatenato la rabbia di addetti ai lavori e cittadini. Secondo quanto emerso, la comunicazione ufficiale del rinvio di tutte le udienze è stata recapitata alla procura soltanto nella tarda mattinata di ieri (27 maggio), attraverso una email inviata dal dirigente amministrativo. Tempistiche decisamente troppo strette che hanno reso impossibile avvisare per tempo i diretti interessati. Questa mattina, infatti, decine di imputati, avvocati, parti offese e testimoni si sono presentati regolarmente e ignari di tutto davanti alle aule del tribunale, scoprendo solo sul posto che i processi non si sarebbero celebrati.

L’episodio odierno fotografa una situazione degli organici che definire al collasso è ormai un eufemismo. I numeri emersi in queste ore descrivono una realtà giudiziaria ridotta ai minimi termini: al tribunale di Prato la scopertura nell’organico dei cancellieri sfiora l’incredibile quota del 90%, mentre quella relativa agli assistenti amministrativi raggiunge il 50%. La situazione non è migliore nei corridoi della procura della Repubblica, dove la carenza di personale amministrativo si attesta attualmente al 33%.

Per capire la gravità del momento basti pensare che, per quanto riguarda la procura, risulta in servizio un solo cancelliere sui sei teoricamente previsti dalla pianta organica, e appena sei assistenti sui nove necessari. Una paralisi annunciata che rischia di gravare pesantemente sui tempi della giustizia pratese.

La vittima, un operaio di origini rumene dipendente di una cooperativa agricola, si trovava a bordo del mezzo per eseguire alcuni interventi di manutenzione programmata nei pressi dell’argine. All’improvviso, lo sparo: l’uomo è stato raggiunto dal colpo e si è accasciato sul volante del trattore. Immediata è scattata la macchina dei soccorsi, attivata dai colleghi e dai presenti che hanno assistito alla scena. Sul posto la centrale del 118 ha inviato l’ambulanza e, data la dinamica e la gravità della ferita, ha fatto levare in volo l’elisoccorso Pegaso. L’operaio è stato stabilizzato e trasferito d’urgenza in codice rosso all’ospedale di Careggi a Firenze. Fortunatamente, secondo quanto si apprende da fonti sanitarie, il 48enne è rimasto sempre cosciente durante le operazioni di soccorso e non si troverebbe in immediato pericolo di vita.

Nel campo della Bogaia è scattato un vero e proprio spiegamento di forze. Insieme ai sanitari sono intervenuti i carabinieri, gli agenti della polizia ocale e gli ispettori del dipartimento di prevenzione e sicurezza sui luoghi di lavoro dell’Asl, incaricati di verificare il rispetto delle normative antinfortunistiche.

La pista principale seguita dagli investigatori dell’Arma parla di un drammatico incidente di caccia: il proiettile che ha colpito l’uomo sarebbe infatti del tutto compatibile con un colpo esploso da un fucile da caccia.

Resta però da chiarire il giallo attorno alla condotta del cacciatore: i militari stanno cercando di capire se chi ha premuto il grilletto si sia reso conto del tragico errore scappando a gambe levate, configurando così il reato di omissione di soccorso, o se si sia allontanato ignaro di tutto.

I carabinieri hanno avviato una serrata battuta di caccia all’uomo in tutta la zona per individuare il responsabile dello sparo.

La questione arriverà nel prossimo Consiglio comunale, dove sarà discusso un ordine del giorno condiviso dai gruppi consiliari. Sul documento stanno lavorando i capigruppo Nicola Bitozzi e Lorenzo Santi, con l’obiettivo di arrivare a una risposta unitaria su un problema che riguarda la tutela dell’ambiente e la vivibilità degli spazi pubblici.

All’incontro saranno invitati Plures Alia, gli uffici comunali, la polizia municipale e i carabinieri forestali. L’obiettivo è definire interventi coordinati contro l’abbandono illecito dei rifiuti, anche attraverso un progetto di videosorveglianza nelle aree più esposte.

Il sindaco non esclude provvedimenti più restrittivi se gli episodi dovessero continuare. Tra le ipotesi ci sono anche limitazioni o chiusure degli accessi ad alcune aree, una scelta definita dolorosa ma possibile per proteggere luoghi usati soprattutto nei mesi più caldi come spazi di socialità e refrigerio.

Nel confronto sui rifiuti abbandonati a Cantagallo viene richiamato anche il ruolo dei carabinieri forestali, considerati un presidio importante per territori montani e fragili. Per l’amministrazione la loro presenza resta strategica nella prevenzione e nel contrasto dei reati ambientali.

Zero Critical, High, or Medium-Risk Findings Identified Across Five Months of Adversarial Testing by U.S. Cybersecurity Firm OnDefend of the DJI Air 3S and Matrice 4E 

SHENZHEN, China, May 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — DJI, the world’s leading drone manufacturer, today released the findings of an independent security assessment conducted by 
OnDefend, a U.S.-based cybersecurity firm trusted by national security stakeholders and enterprise leaders. The assessment covered the DJI Air 3S with RC 2 controller and the DJI Matrice 4E with RC Plus 2 Enterprise controller, subjecting both systems to advanced adversarial testing across software, hardware, and radio frequency domains. 

The assessment was authorized by DJI but conducted independently. To preserve the integrity of the evaluation, consumer units were procured directly from retail outlets without pre-notification to DJI, and enterprise units were sourced from existing dealer stock. All tested devices reflect standard U.S. market distribution. 

Key Findings 

The assessment produced zero critical, high, and medium-risk findings. Specifically: 

Low-Risk Findings and Remediation 

Ten low-risk findings and thirteen observations were identified, consistent with industry norms for complex mobile and embedded systems. They were primarily related to application security configurations, session handling, and wireless hardening. None presented a realistic risk to safe drone operation or to widespread exposure of confidential information. DJI collaborated with OnDefend on potential remediation during the engagement and is working to address remaining items in subsequent software releases.

What Was Tested and How 

The engagement ran from October 2025 through March 2026 and was structured around three national security concerns: data sovereignty, hardware vulnerabilities, and drone manipulation risks. 

As part of the independent assessment, OnDefend conducted hardware and firmware testing that extended far beyond conventional cybersecurity validation. Leveraging its proprietary hardware testing technology and capabilities to perform advanced teardown, RF, and silicon-level analysis designed to identify unauthorized transmission pathways, covert RF channels, counterfeit components, undocumented modifications, hidden antennas, and broader supply chain integrity risks. 

On the software side, OnDefend conducted static and dynamic application security testing of the DJI Fly and Pilot 2 applications, full network traffic analysis across standard and local data mode operation, and adversary simulation including meddler-in-the-middle attacks, certificate bypass, privilege escalation, and jailbreak attempts.

IRVINE, Calif., May 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — PeproMene Bio, Inc. announced today that updated clinical data from its ongoing Phase 1 study evaluating PMB-CT01, an investigational B-cell activating factor receptor (BAFF-R)-targeted CAR T-cell therapy, have been selected for an oral presentation at the 2026 Congress of the European Hematology Association (EHA). 

This presentation will highlight results from the completed dose-escalation portion of the study in relapsed/refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-NHL), including patients whose cancer has progressed following standard CD19-directed CAR T-cell therapy (NCT05370430). 

Among the nine patients treated in this phase, PMB-CT01 demonstrated a promising safety profile with no dose-limiting toxicities, no grade >1 cytokine release syndrome (CRS), and no grade >1 immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS). Seven of nine patients (78%) achieved a complete response (CR). At the last data cutoff, no relapses had occurred and all responses remained ongoing, with the longest response exceeding 3 years. Responding patients also achieved minimal residual disease (MRD)-negative status, indicating deep remissions with no detectable residual cancer cells. 

Building on these results, the trial is actively enrolling patients into expansion cohorts for mantle cell lymphoma, large B-cell lymphoma, and follicular lymphoma (FL). Importantly, the first patient treated in this expansion phase – a patient with transformed FL (tFL) who had progressed following CD19 CAR T therapy – achieved a CR at their first disease assessment. tFL is an aggressive form of lymphoma with limited established treatment options.

DULUTH, Ga., May 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Bridge to Life™ Ltd., a global innovator of commercial stage organ preservation and perfusion technologies, today announced a new, pioneering study on organ preservation technologies conclusively demonstrates the efficacy and safety advantages of Hypothermic Oxygenated Perfusion (HOPE) using the innovative VitaSmart™ Perfusion System. The multicenter clinical trial, named Bridge to HOPE by sponsoring company Bridge to Life Ltd., has just been published online in JAMA Surgery. The Bridge to HOPE clinical trial was the pivotal trial reviewed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), leading to the recent de novo clearance of the VitaSmart™ HOPE Perfusion System. 

The study, titled “Portal-Venous Hypothermic Oxygenated Perfusion for Liver Transplantation: The Bridge to HOPE Trial,” is the first multicenter, randomized trial conducted in the United States to evaluate the clinical impact of end-ischemic HOPE through the portal vein alone in liver transplantation using high-risk extended criteria donors, including both Donation after Brain Death (DBD) and Donation after Circulatory Death (DCD) grafts. The study enrolled 219 recipients across 15 U.S. transplant centers and was performed using the investigational VitaSmart™ HOPE System. The study focused on higher-risk donor organs, where advanced preservation techniques can meaningfully increase utilization and improve post-transplant outcomes. 

The protocol was designed with a blinded central assessment of complications and achieved early closure due to statistically superior results for the VitaSmart arm. 

The VitaSmart™ HOPE System was recently launched in the US for use with donor livers following static cold storage and prior to transplantation. The FDA de novo clearance established a new regulatory classification for hypothermic oxygenated perfusion in liver transplantation in the United States. 

“These study results clearly demonstrate the transformational opportunity VitaSmart provides the transplant community.  This study demonstrated that portal venous HOPE offers a simple, safe, and effective preservation strategy with significant clinical benefits, and provides a scalable, logistically feasible alternative to normothermic machine perfusion, especially in the U.S. context of currently limited perfusion infrastructure,” stated Mauricio Carvalho, VP of Medical Affairs at Bridge to Life Ltd. “Overall liver-related complications were also significantly reduced by this perfusion approach.”
